I never planned on making nightguards, retainers, or whitening trays directly for the public until my younger brother, David, told me about his experience.
Years of grinding had begun wearing down his teeth, so his dentist recommended a nightguard. Even with insurance, it cost nearly $600 and worse, it was thick, bulky, and uncomfortable to sleep in.
So I made him a better one.
I fabricated a custom nightguard that was thinner, more comfortable, and properly fitted to his teeth. He loved it, and I later made him a DayGuard for daytime protection as well.
That experience inspired a simple idea behind TrueFit:
Professional-quality nightguards, retainers and whitening trays should be comfortable, accessible, and affordable.
